Swedish Massage

$65 per 60 minutes

imageSwedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines high grade jojoba oil with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation and remove stress. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility. It's also wonderful for muscles sore from excersize.

Neuromuscular Therapy

$75 per 60 minutes

imageNeuromuscular therapy is a system of massage techniques that were developed in the 1930's by Dr. Stanley Lief in England. It uses a holistic approach towards healing, emphasizing and stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself. Neuromuscular therapy also enhances the function of joints and muscles. It accelerates the overall healing process by facilitating the release of endorphins. This is done through trigger point therapy. The therapist will help trigger points (or "knots") release by applying pressure to the back of the skull (occipital muscles) all the way down the spine to the lower back.

Aromatherapy Soothing Waves

$70 per 60 min

imageAromatherapy Soothing Waves massage was passed down by the English Aromatherapist Micheline Arcier and the American Aromatherapist Candace Newman. After Micheline’s death, Candace Newman felt called to pass on the legacy of this massage to others. Felicia was blessed to have the opportunity to learn this unique treatment. It is a beautifully gentle massage using only the top quality medicinal grade essential oils. Felicia will help you choose which oil (or oil blend) uniqely fits your needs. The massage targets the nervous and lymphatic systems of the body, as well as warming the superficial fascia, so muscles have space to loosen and relax. The massage employs a gentle wave-like touch and the powerful healing qualities of essential oils.

"Essential oils are one of the most exciting discoveries that I've made in my journey to become a massage therapist. The wonder of smelling Frankincense, and the Rose of Sharon for the first time was overwhelming.image Then to I found out that essential oils have healing qualities on the physical body as well! They work on the body and the mind at the same time, engaging the whole self and creating an atmosphere where healing can begin. The ancients knew this, and now we are rediscovering it."

-Felicia Evans

"We are just finding new ways to do ancient things." -Candace Newman, Aromatherapist (www.oil-lady.com)

To describe this massage: a deeply refreshing treatment,

perhaps like lying in a field of wildflowers

or floating on the ocean, the waves flowing gently by..
